System issues arise with CPU temperature and Windows performance.
Hi, I’m experiencing issues with my system. It’s running at a minimum temperature of 80 degrees, and I can’t play any games smoothly—like trying to hit 50-60 FPS in CS:GO. I have an Acer Predator 2019 with an i5 9300H and 16GB RAM. Plus, when I open the Windows update settings it keeps loading endlessly.
Regarding cooling, there is some dust present and a moderate noise level.
It seems the issue isn't with the system itself but rather with the noise it makes. This could indicate it's functioning due to heat stress. The situation appears to stem from an untrained staff member who may have used low-quality thermal paste and pads. I’d appreciate a closer inspection, as this might point to a simpler fix.
I just looked at my router's antivirus and saw it was constantly stopping the device from mining crypto. Since I'm from India, mining crypto is against the law there, so I'm really worried.
Consider using malwarebytes to detect threats. Update its database if possible and perform a complete scan. The process may require several hours. You can get it from the link provided: https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/thankyou/
