MSI MPG x570 plus with 64 GB DDR4 RAM installed (using only 31.9 GB). Ryzen 5 2600 CPU and GTX 770 graphics card, paired with a 2 TB hard drive and Windows 11 PRO OS. The system isn’t utilizing all the RAM; I’ve updated to the latest BIOS version. However, the RAM is set to two different versions—5.32 and 4.33. Would this difference affect performance?

It checks for full RAM usage but may not be fully leveraging every available portion.

Yes, the first set is Hynix CJR and the second is Samsung D die. It's unclear if they'll work together, as Samsung D die isn't widely available outside OEM parts, though it might cause problems. Are both memory types showing up in the BIOS? When mixing such configurations, you often need to test various stick combinations in different slots until it functions. Let's refer to the v4.33 kit as D and the 5.32 kit as C. Try placing them in slots like CCDD, CDDC, CDCD, etc.

They were both reviewing bios, but now only the 4.33 kit will be posted.

Unusual. Hynix CJR generally works well with Ryzen setups, this part should function normally. I've noticed memory modules sometimes fail unexpectedly, but it's not common. Reading the BIOS but only seeing half of the data isn't unusual—often a memory reseat is needed, which involves removing the CMOS battery briefly and testing in various slots.

I replaced the RAM according to the motherboard guidelines and all four are now working again. I removed the hard drive and graphics card, then attempted to reinstall them to check for issues.

Good luck on your journey. RAM can be challenging to install because even a small dust particle in two of the slots can make your whole setup non-functional. People often are surprised to learn that simply using a hand pump to blow out the RAM slots can restore the system to working condition.
