Sure, let me see. Your dad's PC isn't showing anything after installing a new CPU, even though he's tried various CPUs, RAM configurations, and different operating environments. It seems like the issue might be related to the display settings or driver problems. Have you checked if the graphics card is properly connected and recognized? Also, ensure the display is powered on and the monitor is set up correctly.

Use integrated or dedicated GPU for testing video signals. This works well when you share the current specifications and the CPU model you're replacing or upgraded to.

The parts being referenced include the CPU and motherboard models. Consider checking the BIOS updates for the new CPU before it fully recognizes the hardware. Other potential factors might be involved. Also, try switching the video output from the motherboard's HDMI to the monitor instead of relying on the graphics card.

Tell me what error lights or beep codes you're seeing, and I'll help you identify them.

I don't believe it's the BIOS—the main motherboard is an ASUS Rampage 3 formula with dual BIOS, and I don’t see any updates for either board. The second one I used was a Gigabyte Ultra Durable from the same generation, using LGA 1366 chips; the CPUs are Intel i7-950 and Xeon X5670, both of which are confirmed to function well.

The issue stems from my inability to cite relevant details during troubleshooting.

Do you have a speaker set up? Also, do you have any power source? Lights, fans, or anything else? If not, perform the paperclip test at the provided link. Have you experimented with various display cables? I noticed you've tried different monitors. Since you've essentially replaced all hardware, it might be time to visit a repair shop. However, with such old equipment, finding someone with the necessary parts could be challenging.

there’s no speaker installed; it functions as a test bench on my desk. The CPU cooler fans are spinning, the case fans are running, and the motherboard lights up, but no error indicators appear. Everything seems operational except for the display. I’ve tried various cables and the one I use daily, but there’s no issue with the connection. There’s only one nearby PC shop that has older hardware, and they’re open to checking if anything is missing before you visit.
