I've been having random crashes when I open Valorant or playing Enshrouded but I don't remember having crashes like a month ago or something like that. I have no BSOD or BIOS error like I would when the system shuts down because of temps. I only have an instant freeze and an audio glitch into my PC being forced to restart. PC Specs: CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x16Gb 3600Mhz MB: ASUS TUF Gaming B450-PLUS II GPU: ASUS Dual RX 6700XT OC PSU: Corsair CX650M Storage: 1 SSD 240 WD - 1 NVME WD 500GB - 1TB HDD Seagate Firecuda (SMART Status Yellow) - 1TB HDD WD OS: W11 (22H2) I've everything updated and windows debloated Appreciate the help because I have no clue how to troubleshoot this
Check if the GPU, CPU, or RAM needs to be reset to standard settings. This applies to these particular titles as well.
Earlier I saved an OC preset but it failed, so I went back to the default. The only changes I made were to the RAM settings in the DOCP configuration (3600mhz) and the CPU was set by default on the ADAIN settings. I tried setting it to Default again, but it still stays in Overclocked mode. I haven't played any other games lately, and it doesn’t occur every time a game starts up—just random.
Additionally, upon crashing, the application should generate a log entry in Event Viewer. Check for its presence there.
That's unusual, especially in Valorant when loading a map. Occasionally it just stops working without a full crash. Try resetting your RAM settings and follow the advice about shorting out the CMOS pins—don't just remove the battery. You can find many guides online on how to clear CMOS for your motherboard. Just search YouTube for "how to clear CMOS on (your motherboard)" and you'll find helpful videos.
I faked it just for fun, lmao. Had a crash yesterday due to a WHEA Logger issue with memory. Will run a memtest tonight. Not really concerned about memory problems since streaming didn’t hit full capacity before. Also, facing issues with SgrmBroker and AMDRyzenMasterDriverV22—tried clearing the registry of AMDRyzenMasterV20 but it always came back after rebooting.
