the motherboard is an msi b450 pro max wifi, ryzen 7 5700g windows 11. my friend purchased some new components and i assisted with installation, but the board wasn’t compatible with the ryzen 5000 so i replaced it with an older model to upgrade the firmware. everything worked smoothly and windows functioned properly, though when i attempt to boot into the boot menu it crashes. it’s not ideal, but instead of reinstalling windows, i simply transferred the new parts without any problems so far.
