As described, I attempted to power on the latest system but only received a black screen. I didn’t replace the SSD, GPU, or power supply. My goal is to boot from USB and perform a fresh Windows installation. The graphics card hasn’t been installed yet. The monitor is connected via HDMI on the motherboard’s I/O slot. ROG Strix Z790-E 13900K Dominator Titanium with 64GB RAM.

Additionally, the small display on the motherboard, which shows error codes or CPU temperature, reads 98.

Can you enter BIOS and adjust the boot sequence, making USB the top choice? Does adding the GPU alter this process?

I encountered a set of fans that wasn’t connected before. Surprisingly, connecting them helped me start the PC. Now I face another problem. After booting via USB, the monitor, mouse, and keyboard stopped working, yet the system is still active. The screen shows no signal, making it hard to determine what’s happening. I’m unsure whether to press the power button to shut it down or let it finish installing Windows. Edit: I powered it off and back on, but now there’s only a black screen with a white spinning circle.
