Hello, thank you for sharing your setup. This is my first real build, here are the details:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 3.7 GHz
- RAM: 4x Corsair 8GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16 Vengeance LPX
I tried increasing the RAM speed using DOCP and set it to 3200MHz, but after saving the BIOS settings, my PC would boot into safe mode twice before starting. I’m not sure if the BIOS needs updating or something else is causing this issue. I want to get the most out of my RAM and stop using 2133MHz. Could you help me?

I'm not sure if it's the same problem as before, but I had something similar. To avoid posting in safe mode, I removed all my RAM sticks until there was just one left, then it booted up. It turned out one of my RAM sticks had a glitch that prevented proper startup. Try this and see which stick causes issues—add them one by one and enable XMP after each addition.

It depends on the specific sticks you're using. If they're compatible, you should get around 3200MHz speeds. However, if one stick isn't working properly, it might affect overall performance. Always check compatibility before plugging them in.

I handled the situation by simply replacing the faulty unit and updating the XMP settings. This issue popped up a few times after power outages, though it doesn’t necessarily mean it will happen again. It would help to mark the stick with any issues you encounter so troubleshooting becomes easier later. I used an ASUS RAM cache III to test for RAM problems, but it didn’t show anything. One option is returning the device if it’s under warranty and requesting an RMA directly. For me, sending it back was too complicated due to shipping costs and time.

It's frustrating when things go wrong in your initial setup, but it ultimately teaches you more. I faced the same problem during my first build too—thinking it wasn't worth the effort. Looking back, I'm glad I kept going because it helped me grasp how the system works and gave me the skills to handle issues on my own.
