Verify the BIOS settings, ensure the CPU operates at base clocks, confirm no auto-OC or optimizer is active. It might be the boot drive that's affected. Recent modifications could be involved.

My processor has consistently run too hot and never caused any problems before. After installing the latest Windows version, I did this on a brand new SSD. The only significant adjustment I noticed was switching the RAM speed from 3200MHz to 3600MHz.
