Hi everyone, I own a brand new PC built last year with the latest parts. Sometimes when I'm using it—whether streaming or joining a Zoom class—I notice sudden audio loss and freezing. I can still move the mouse and click, but everything else stops working, forcing a hard reset. Recently, I switched my PSU from an 8-pin to a 12-pin setup because my old supply lacked enough CPU pins. I used an EVGA 700W power unit, which has been performing well for a while now. But when I watch videos it still freezes. I suspect the RAM might be misaligned and will need replacement. If anyone can help figure out what's going on, it would really help. Thanks!

Specs: ROG B550 F Gaming Wi-Fi Ryzen 7 5800X, Radeon RX 6800, Noctua NHD 15, CPU cooler, Samsung 1TB SSD, mismatched RAM (upgrade soon), NZXT H510 case.

There might be an issue with instability or overheating. The temperatures seem high. Are there any overclocking attempts? Would removing the mismatched RAM resolve the problem?

Conditions appear quite consistent. I haven’t tested the RAM yet. Replicating the freeze is difficult because it occurs unexpectedly, making it hard to determine if changing RAM helps immediately. I plan to purchase replacements soon.

Consider resetting your browser’s cache and cookies or reinstalling the software. That approach has helped resolve freezing problems in similar applications.
