Signs: System freezes completely (almost like a static image), shutdown without error, CPU indicator lights up on the motherboard. Could also freeze when starting, then the loading screen just stops. Details: Symptoms appear when idle or when a game is running and multiple apps are open. No crashes occur if a game is active. This issue has persisted for some time, but I haven’t found a clear cause. The machine remains functional overall, with background applications working. CPU usage stays under 64% during testing (15 hours of continuous use). Components: RAM – Vengeance Pro 3200MHz, 32GB; CPU – Ryzen 5800X Mobo; GPU – EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Super Black Gaming; PSU – Corsair HX850i, 850W. Research notes: Replaced RAM due to a defective unit (RMA). Mem tests passed without issues. Not linked to the operating system, as similar problems appear in Ubuntu Live. My concerns center around a failing power supply. Any suggestions?"
