I improved my PC components and during streaming on platforms like Netflix the machine would freeze any open applications. Playing stops, temperatures cease updating, and it resets to whatever state it was in when it froze. I can still move the mouse and open Task Manager, but closing anything is unpredictable. It began this behavior after installing the new CPU, though it didn’t happen during gameplay before. I’ve used about 2-3 hours without issues, but it started after the upgrade. Please let me know if you have any ideas—my BIOS is updated and all hardware except the SSD, hard drives, power supply, and case remains unchanged. My specs include a Ryzen 9 5900X with Core Boost and Performance Boost set to Auto. I’m using an NZXT Kraken x53 Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti Rev 2.0, ASUS ROG Strix B550 F Gaming, G.Skill TRIDENT 16GB (3200MHz), and two 8GB sticks at 3200MHz. It’s set to 3200MHz in the BIOS. Evga Supernova 750W G3.

I can help with that. Let me run a stress test on CPU, GPU, and RAM.

I handle 3DMark with two GPU tests and one CPU test, but I’m unsure about running it for RAM. I also checked if Performance Boost overrides the results, but it seems the only metric available is core performance.

You can run Windows memory diagnostics without any complicated tools—just needs basic RAM checks

Absolutely, I did that once and there was nothing to report.

It might be because the system is behaving oddly. You could attempt a fresh installation. Make sure to back up all your files and install on a USB drive. Also, perform a disk benchmark, though I question if the drive would actually fail this way.

I just performed a new Windows 11 setup. The files were removed from my SSD and then reinstalled, but nothing was deleted from my hard drives.

Your computer keeps crashing. Are there any unusual USB devices connected or anything you're using?

I'm working with adapters for my monitors connected to the GPU and have a USB Bluetooth on my PC. I'm unsure if turning off the precision boost overdrive will solve the problem until after midnight today.
