System halts keys unexpectedly or restarts during file transfers to/from external hard drives
I've begun setting up backups to an external hard drive, but during the transfer it often freezes, loops, or shuts down completely. The HDD connects via a docking station to the PC, while the keyboard is linked through the motherboard’s front panel and directly connected to the back I/O. The keyboard model is a SteelSeries Apex 5. I've tried resetting the firmware, updating drivers, and installing/uninstalling the app, but nothing worked. When data transfer stops, the keyboard functions normally. What could be causing this issue?
