You have a damaged laptop and are stuck trying to change the BIOS. The power button is faulty, so you must wait for it to shut down naturally. Consider reverting to the previous BIOS version if possible.

Did you update the BIOS or just apply the standard configurations? If you updated the BIOS, your device might be damaged and require fixes to function properly. If you applied the default settings, you should be able to retry or reset the CMOS memory. Regarding battery drain, do you have a replaceable battery? Just take it out and the system will power off. Have a great day!

If you manage to revert, it's a good idea too. You can also reset your CMOS on the motherboard to refresh the BIOS.
