Hello everyone, I'm dealing with a serious problem on my PC and need your guidance. At first, it wouldn't power on and displayed a black screen with a white spinning circle. After several force restarts, I reached the troubleshooting menu. A suggestion was to perform a disk check due to possible disk corruption. I executed CHKDSK, but the results are confusing. The output shows multiple unreadable file segments and a progress stuck at 48%. The process has been ongoing for nearly 24 hours, now showing over 100 hours. It moved from around 30 seconds to more than an hour. I also tried `sfc /scannow`, but it failed with an error about Windows Resource Protection. I'm stuck in recovery mode and can't boot into normal Windows. My concern is the health of my hard drive, and I'm unsure what to do next. Would replacing the drive be the best option? Are there any other steps I should take or tools that could help diagnose this issue? Your advice would mean a lot. Thank you!

Typically wait until completion because it needs to reorganize the disk... or redistribute broken areas... or consider using a different drive.
