System halted due to automatic repair process.
Hi everyone. I brought the PC from my nephew to test because it's causing issues. When I power it on, it jumps straight into an automatic repair screen and doesn't do much else. He ran the repair for over ten hours without any changes. In the BIOS I noticed only one RAM slot was listed and the SATA HDD wasn't detected. I swapped the two RAM sticks around and performed a BIOS reset by replacing the battery. After that, both RAM slots and the HDD appeared again, but it still stuck on the repair screen. Even after running it for at least three hours, the screen didn't change. I ran Memtest using a USB stick and everything passed without problems, but every Linux distro, boot repair ISO, or Windows installer from my multi-boot drive failed to start, suggesting the motherboard might not be functioning properly. What should I do next? Any advice would be appreciated.

Can you start from your Linux or Windows setup, or do those stop working as well? The Automatic Repair loop seems to point to a problem with the operating system, but everything else appears functional and recognized in the BIOS.
The Linux or Windows system won’t start from the stick at all. I’ve checked every USB port so far. Everything functions on other devices, which means the stick itself isn’t the issue.
The only other idea I have is to check if the motherboard supports video output. If it does, take out the graphics card and observe the results. It might indicate a problem with the card itself. Also, unplug everything except the mouse, monitor, and keyboard. You could even cut the internet cable, though the chance of it being the issue seems very low—it seems the board might be faulty.
