At first I thought I missed the login page, but once it appeared, I could log in quickly. However, over the past two days I’ve been unable to reach the login screen without running into crashes. If a program were responsible, Safe Mode wouldn’t have fixed the problem, which is why it still happens.

Try the installable regedit tool. It shouldn't cause any damage. If you're unsure about autostart entries and tasks in the registry, plenty of resources are available online. There aren't just a few locations—separate sections exist for tasks, current user settings, all users, services, etc. You can also quickly verify if your system is functioning normally by disconnecting the drive and booting from another machine. If the issue lies with the driver, this method might resolve it, as the system will reinitialize devices at startup.

I followed the steps mentioned in the article to remove registry entries and prevent automatic program launches. I also tried turning off the firewall and Windows Defender, but reinstalled them afterward because they didn’t resolve the issue. To confirm there’s no hardware problem, I swapped my SSD with my brother’s, which failed, while his system booted normally on mine. Since Ubuntu runs well from the same drive, it seems hardware isn’t the cause at this stage.
