System froze right after startup and entered a repeated restart state.
Purchased new components for my PC and encountered several problems. Here’s a summary of the issues and attempts to resolve them:
- No display or USB functionality on any RAM slots initially.
- All fans started spinning immediately after installation.
- Removed RAM, installed only one in the first slot, then managed to boot into BIOS (only one working slot).
- BIOS displayed all components but crashed during login attempts; automatic repair led to instability.
- Still unresolved issue; PC has been non-functional for over 48 hours.
- Tried resetting CMOS, re-seating parts, powering down completely, and using spare components.
- Updated BIOS to the latest version for the motherboard.
- Tested spare power supply and GPU.
I’m struggling and need advice on how to proceed.
It might be overheating. A restart could resolve the issue by ensuring the CPU fan is properly connected.
