I see why this matters, yet the margin differences on top cards are quite minor. It feels like the GPU gave up because of heat or wear and tear, and likely can't be fixed now since it crashed even at normal temperatures. It's a real disappointment since it was probably the most valuable part if I were to sell it. Right now, my main worry is whether it will hold up during data transfer to my new system and then being wiped clean. Last time I checked everything looked fine, but I'll look into it further when I return. If it's similar to your experience, maybe I should give up on the driver problem. I just hope my upcoming GPU performs better, especially given today's prices.
