System freezes unexpectedly on a regular basis.
My processor specs: i5 12400F, motherboard Gigabyte h610, 16GB RAM (X2 DDR4 3200MHz), XPG Adata GPU, PSU Corsair RM850, storage options including Corsair P3 NVMe and WD 2TB HDD. Operating system is Windows 11. The problem appears intermittently—system freezes after startup, display flickers or stops, or stays on constantly. It happens randomly during BIOS, OS loading, or while performing tasks. Stress tests show mixed results; sometimes everything works, other times the issue resurfaces. I’ve cleaned and reworked CPU and GPU, temperatures are normal, and power supply is solid. I’m using a 1100VA APC UPS.
Five short beeps might indicate issues with the CPU, power delivery, or the motherboard. Having a backup board or a compatible CPU to test is helpful. If you also have a spare PSU, try using it for testing. If problems persist after checking those, move on to other components. The 3060ti would be the next step.
