The guide covers most of my concerns, yet the issue arises when I launch it after powering down—it freezes on the Asus logo screen at startup. The loading indicator or BIOS access option is missing. After resetting the case, everything works properly. I assembled the system about two weeks ago using brand-new components; apart from this odd boot behavior, there were no other problems. Fast boot is enabled, and only RAM uses the default XMP profile at 3200MHz. The OS runs Windows 10 Home 64-bit, with specs: CPU Intel Core i7-9700K, 16GB DDR4 RAM, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060, NVMe SSD Corsair MP510, and a WD Blue 1TB HDD. The motherboard is Asus ROG Z390-F 1151.

Have you checked if your system is up to date with the latest bios or reinstalled Windows?

Uncertain about updating the bios, but I’ve confirmed it’s outdated. I didn’t attempt Windows, opted for a clean install, and while issues might still exist, I prefer rebooting over redoing everything again. Also, it seems unrelated to Windows since it doesn’t reach the login screen, though I’m not sure.

Refresh your profile details to the latest release, then turn off Fast Boot. The change in behavior when Fast Boot is enabled versus disabled is minimal, and this feature comes with some problems such as difficulty accessing BIOS or Windows following a power cycle.

Here are some resources on updating your BIOS:
- Official manufacturer website (e.g., ASUS, Lenovo, etc.)
- Tech forums like Reddit or PC Forum
- YouTube tutorials for specific models
Let me know if you need help finding a particular guide!

Updated the bios from 0903 to 1105 but the problem persists. Disabled fast boot and checked the splash screen—no changes yet. Consider other adjustments?

Upgrade your CPU and RAM, then perform a memory test using MemTest86. Execute the test without the X.MP profile active.

It might not be necessary to re-seat the CPU. Removing the cooler and applying new thermal paste could cause boot issues, so testing with MemTest and avoiding XMP settings are good steps. Disabling XMP doesn’t necessarily mean you need to replace the RAM.

Consider other approaches too; it keeps occurring despite your efforts.
