I've noticed some problems with my PC lately, especially during gaming or when background apps run. It freezes unexpectedly, and I have to restart it completely. After turning it back on, the mouse, keyboard, and monitor won't turn on, or I get an overclocking failure message that leads me into the BIOS without changing anything. I haven't overclocked my CPU, but I think my motherboard might be doing it automatically.

I also don’t remember having this issue before getting my 1070, if that gives you a clue.

if the bios indicates oc failed, attempt to disable the auto oc if feasible, then observe the outcomes. however, the most frequent problem for pc shutdowns is related to thermal protections, or incorrect gpu drivers. i suggest downloading open hardware monitor and msi afterburner, checking temperatures for both cpu and gpu. i experienced this issue when my cpu overheated; its thermal margin was around 75°c. you might consider repasting the cpu heatsink if the problem persists.
