The motherboard and RAM were brand new. I performed a complete fresh installation. All drivers from MSI were installed.

The BIOS was last updated on August 16, 2023. It shouldn't require an update, should it?

There may be an updated release available. It should work at 3600mhz, but if the component isn't listed in the QVL it might be an issue with that part or the board itself.

It turns out the RAM kit isn't listed on the QVL for that motherboard. It's a bit disappointing since a well-known brand like Corsair should be supported. Still, it's wise to verify compatibility beforehand. Thanks for the advice and enjoy your build!
