The problem began roughly a month ago. Trying to power off my PC results in a black screen, though the lights stay on and the fans continue to run. The system becomes unresponsive, and the only way to shut it down is by pressing the power button repeatedly. My Windows and graphics drivers are all current. I have a 5800x and 6800xt model.
I'm curious if the issue might be linked to Windows hibernation settings. I also faced problems with my PC failing to shut down correctly. It might be worth reviewing any hibernation-related options in the control panel. Control Panel → All Control Panel Items → Power Options → System Settings. Let me know if this helps.
