I got the game and have been playing it the past few days. Ive gotten to the point where I track down Petrov in the theater... And then the game started crashing, before we get into details, here are the PC Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7800X-3D GPU: AMD Radeon 7900-XTX (Red Devil) RAM: Trident Z5 Neo 6000MHz 32GB (2 x 16GB) Mobo: MSI B-650 Tomahawk WiFi PSU: Seasonic Focus PX-850 (850-Watt Platinum) OS: Windows 11 Professional Game Resolution and Settings: 3440x1440p (2K UltraWide) at Ultra Settings. I tried Max but didn't like the huge performance hit when it already looks so good on Ultra, so I have been on Ultra Preset with FPS capped at 165 FPS. Experience So Far: Absolutely Amazing. Up until the theater, the game has only crashed once and it seemed to be random, I simply reloaded and continued like it never happened. Gameplay has been amazingly smooth, even in the most demanding areas like flying in the car at the beginning of the game, the lowest I see the FPS go on Ultra is 120, with the average in high demand areas usually more like 150 FPS. However, once inside and the outside world is no longer rendered, FPS skyrockets to over 300 which causes screen tear since the monitor is 144Hz. This is why I enabled the 165 FPS limiter. Once I entered the theater: Everything was fine until I went to fight the Plyusch. I saved in the save room just before the fight area and as soon as I cross the line when the Plyusch spawns, the game crashes. I reloaded several times and it crashes in the same exact spot. Started doing some googling. Apparently lowering settings to Medium can help. It did, I was able to get past the Plyusche and then defeated Natasha at the end of the theater Act. However, trying to leave in the elevator is now crashing, just after Stockhausen contacts you on the way up. As he says his first line, telling you he will meet you, it freezes. P-3's audio for his response comes through, but the screen is frozen. Then the audio freezes, and then the crash report pops up and its over. Ive tried all setting presets from Low to Max, nothing works. Ive tried seting FPS limiter to 60, doesn't work. Ive tried using Windows to run in Windows 8 compatibility mode. Nope, nothing. Im completely stumped at this point. Before you ask if Ive done DDU with fresh drivers, there is no need. This is a BRAND NEW BUILD. I literally finished it 5 days ago and this is the very first game I am playing on it. All new components including storage M.2 NVME drives, latest AMD Adrenalin Driver. Ive tested other games but haven't really played them yet. Ive done research and apparently lots of people playing with AMD GPUs have issues with this particular game. Some people haven't even figured their issue out even after 2 months... Am I just completely screwed because I didn't want to spend the additional $400 I would have needed to get an equivalent RTX 4080 AIB? You can't be serious... All the other issue reports also say it is ONLY this game specifically, and that nobody else is having wide-spread issues with other games. If you have any information, please reach out.

Have you ever discovered a solution for your problem? I’m facing the same issue where the game freezes after you attempt to ride the elevator down following defeating the Plyusch. It consistently crashes at the same location. I’ve tried numerous fixes other than reinstalling, so I’m about to restart it again but was hoping someone had a workaround. I’ve installed all weapon mods from 11/12 Polygons and feel close to completing the game, so I’m trying not to give up on reaching the ending. It’s been around 57 hours Smile

It worked after reinstalling it. I hope it resolved the issue for you as well.
