Hello, I just assembled a PC and it won't show anything. Neither the IGPU nor the DGPU is working. Removing the RAM triggers three long beeps (ram problem), but using any RAM doesn't produce any codes or beeps. Here are the details: Intel desktop board DH55TC I3-520 2x4GB DDR3 1333 AMD HD 5850 Rexpower 400W PSU (with 2x6-pin PCIe). I've tried reseating the memory, swapped in different RAM, booted without the DGPU, and used a different PSU – Fortron Hexa 500.
You don’t have to clear CMOS unless you’re doing a fresh installation, though it might assist with the problem.
I feel really embarrassed about this, but it actually helped. I put a jumper on it and the computer now starts up properly and shows. Sorry for interrupting.
It's nice to hear that it worked. No issue at all if the jumper wasn't there.
