System failure and visual glitches.
Hello, I'm dealing with a problem where my PC frequently restarts without warning. It only happens when I'm browsing in a browser, after using it for 10 to 20 minutes. Sometimes it takes just a minute or two, and it seems completely random. In games, this doesn't occur at all—almost never, like once a month. I also notice artifacts while scrolling; they appear briefly as black and white squares lasting less than a second. Extremely rarely, a blue screen of death appears during games, but that's happened only a few times. I've tried various fixes from other forums, but nothing worked. I've installed a fresh Windows, added more RAM, updated the BIOS, replaced the power supply, wiped and reinstalled GPU drivers. My system specs are: Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-12700KF, MSI RTX4080, Supremacy X DDR4 2x16 at 3600MHz, Corsair HX1000 MSI PRO Z690-A. I plan to send the GPU to a shop for testing, to see if it's the GPU issue or another component. Any additional advice would be appreciated, as I really want my PC to function properly.
The BSOD displays unclear messages. Check the eventviewer for odd activity. Look for warning triangles in Device Manager. Even with extra RAM, run a memtest. Monitor temperatures closely. If you think your GPU is faulty, ask someone to bring another one for testing. Recently, some users reported issues with Corsair PSUs in various forums.
The last crash was quite long ago and I don't recall the message. After each failure, I see a critical alert saying: The system has rebooted without a clean shutdown. This issue might happen if the machine stopped working, crashed, or lost power suddenly. No warnings. I plan to run memtest tomorrow after work. Temperatures are normal, but the GPU and CPU often exceed 60°C during heavy use. I should never go over 30°C while idle or using light tasks like browsing. I've already tried getting a spare GPU, but no one is willing to help.
