I updated the drive (in DiskGenius), using "migrate" instead of "clone" system. Then increased the partition size as requested.
I tried the boot process before entering the command prompt and it functioned properly at that stage.
I don’t own the NVME SSD cloned OS. It started working fine, so I double-checked that the SATA one was unplugged.
