Hello, after a short period since installing my system into the new case, my PC stopped working and won’t boot. When I tried to restart it, no fans were spinning and the RGB lights on the fans were flashing or glitching. I booted it using just the CPU and one RAM stick, which triggered the CPU debug indicator. The fan case spins normally, but there’s a whining sound I can’t pinpoint. My PC specs include: NZXT H6 Flow RGB board, MSI Gaming plus X570 CPU, Ryzen 9 5900X, cooling components, a Noctua Nh-D15 PSU, Corsair Rm850x RAM, a 4TB Patriot DDR4 2666MHz GPU, MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti with 8GB, and a WD Black 1TB SSD.

The wine almost makes me think somethings up with the PSU, not sure though. How old is it? Do you have a spare to test with? Maybe check and see if you don't have a standoff on the case that is poking the back of the motherboard.? I would think that would actually fry something rather than just not start but this seems odd..

Found something comparable and it was definitely the NZXT model... the power button began acting up within a week. No matter what, I suggest returning this case and purchasing a better one such as Fractal or Zeaginal instead.

This suggestion is valid but doesn't always require cooking something; it might simply prevent the system from starting. I'd avoid using NZXT products at this stage.

You're likely correct, I've never really used it before... maybe just pulling it out and trying to power it on could help.

I've been working on the case for a few days. The components I've had for several years—about 3 to 4 years—I can review to verify if a standoff is touching the PSU or if it works better when I remove it from the case. Also, I believe the noise likely came from the PSU itself. I ran it in the NZXT case for at least two days before this issue occurred.

It seems like there might be a power supply issue. Do you have an alternative to verify this?

I have some cables but I'm missing one needed for testing with the CPU connected.

I also have another machine that I can use to check the PSU. This will help determine if it powers up correctly or causes problems. If needed, I can record a video of the process to provide more context.

I discovered small black marks on the motherboard surface, near the rear I/O area close to the CPU and at the bottom where I can't upload pictures right now.
