I attempted to install various Linux distributions using a USB drive that was pre-flashed with PopOS via the Pop-OS USB flasher (https://github.com/pop-os/popsicle). Currently, I'm running MemTest86 on it, and the first two passes showed no errors. I also tested the drive on another computer, which functioned correctly.
