Hey there. I'm facing some issues with my PC, especially when loading screens appear—like those in League of Legends or World of Warcraft. When I switch to a second monitor, the performance drops, and if I watch a YouTube video while in a load screen, the video buffers and lags. The audio stays normal unless it starts buffering, but the video itself skips frames roughly every 0.3 to 1.2 seconds.

If I open a game in WoW and press the left mouse button more than twice on my monitor, I see a Windows message saying "WoW.exe has stopped responding." The 'Wait' or 'Shutdown' buttons appear, but pressing 'Wait' resolves it after about 5 seconds. Everything seems updated, drivers are working, and no errors are reported in Task Manager.

(Note: The problem isn’t with YouTube or the browser—it’s likely related to background processes on my second monitor.)

My setup includes a Ryzen 7 2700X with an RTX 2080 graphics card, Gigabyte Windforce graphics card, and a couple of SSDs. I have Windows 11, and my OS is installed on one drive while the other is empty. The monitor is 165Hz, and I’m using a 60Hz display.

I suspect the issue might be tied to my CPU since it only happens during load screens and usually when background tasks run. This could be affecting how the system handles graphics and input events. Let me know if you want help troubleshooting further!

I think it's best to go with downloading H264ify. You mentioned having a strong CPU, which makes sense for that tool, especially on older Core2Duos. I don’t really understand the alternative.

I'm not confident this will fix the issue because the problem isn't with you. But the device making the decision seems to be acting on its own.

Consider updating your BIOS to the newest version (the latest one is available on the manufacturer's website for your motherboard). *Please be cautious, as incorrect flashing can damage your board or stop it from working.* You might need to reset your BIOS. Also, remove any unused browser extensions; if that doesn’t help, try a different browser and reinstall your primary one if necessary. Verify your CPU temperature using CoreTemp—HOPE THIS ASSISTS!

The issue isn't with the browser itself. It's that my computer struggles to manage the loading screens, which in turn impacts the browser performance. The YouTube example occurred recently while watching videos, and having another game open on a second monitor might be contributing factors.

my processor temperatures have stayed below 70°C most of the time. I've seen this happen a couple of times while trying to run tests.

Do you have antivirus software installed? Choose between free or paid options at your discretion! Personally, I prefer Bitdefender, with alternatives like Avast, Kyspersky, and AVG. Run a complete system scan if you suspect any viruses or malware.
