Hello, my brother is facing major issues with his games constantly crashing due to event ID 1000 and application errors. We've tried several fixes like reinstalling the .NET framework, updating drivers, Windows, chipset, and even performing a full PC reset, but nothing resolved the problem. Could you suggest other troubleshooting steps or let us know if we should seek help from a specialist?

Brother's system specs: Ryzen 5500 B550, Radeon 6600, 16GB Kingstone Fury 3200MHz, Kingston Fury SSD, normal HDD, Fractal design PSU, 650W Windows 10 64-bit.

Thanks in advance!
Regards, Harley

Consider this if possible. Run Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) in the search bar, type "cmd" until the command prompt appears and click run as administrator. In the prompt, enter DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth and press enter. Wait quietly—this might take up to 15 minutes. Do not interrupt; it could affect your system! This will fix issues linked to crashes.

Check if XMP/DOCP is active in the BIOS. If it is, turn it off and observe whether the problem continues.
