You're dealing with a confusing situation. It sounds like the problem might be related to your graphics card or storage setup. The NVMe SSD issue you mentioned could be connected to how your system handles data under stress, especially during gaming or rendering tasks. Your crashes seem to happen when the GPU is working hard, but the advice points toward an NVMe drive fault. Make sure your power supply is stable and consider testing with a different SSD if possible. Also, check for any driver updates or conflicts in OCCT. If the issue persists, it might be worth consulting a professional for hardware diagnostics.

You shared your post on a forum or community site. The codes you received are listed, and there are no dump files attached. The M.2 slot is typically near or beneath the GPU, which may cause overheating of the NVMe drive.

Yes, I've also performed a CMOS reset.

The M2 would remain stable around 51 degrees until it failed, and the screen freezing coincided with that temperature.

The instructions they received led them to believe it was an NVMe device.

The situation you're describing doesn't match CS2 at all. I've experienced a similar problem recently and haven't been able to pinpoint the cause. My system shows high SSD usage reaching 100% while reading/writing at 0Kb/s, triggering a BSOD with the "whea_uncorrectable_error" message. Playing 25-40 minute sessions leads to frequent crashes after restarting CS2 repeatedly. I've reinstalled Windows, removed and reinstalled CS2, but crashes persist. It seems the error is sporadic and unpredictable. My hardware setup includes an i9-10900k CPU, Gold 1000W PSU, ASUS TUF RTX 3080, and several high-speed M.2 drives. The game and operating system are installed on one of those drives.

We favor original posts, but a WHEA crash indicates a hardware problem involving the CPU or a PCIe device (except for exceptions we may address). Are you receiving dump files?
