Can't be five years. The CPU failed around mid-2019. Probably the issue is with the CPU itself. Consider static OC settings between 3.8 to 4.0 and adjust the voltage in BIOS to match or lower than 1.2v. Test for stability and check if crashes continue.
I completed the CMOS reset and will keep you informed about any progress regarding the problem. You're correct about the timing. I'll also attempt static OC without overclocking my PC. My case is a SFF (Silverstone Sugo SG13), and I didn't want to overclock it. Yes, on a 1To SSD M.2 Samsung 980, I previously had a 250Go To SSD (with just Windows) and updated it last year.
Partitioning an SSD isn't advisable since HDDs don't have dedicated spaces for allocation. Inactive data needs constant shifting to free room for active bits, which creates issues. Are you still using the old SSD or a live Linux environment to check? The problem seems hardware-based. A faulty CPU won’t start properly. This points toward storage failure, memory issues, motherboard problems (though unlikely), or power supply instability. GPU and PSU faults typically appear under heavy load, like gaming. If both OSes crash after a certain time, storage or RAM is likely the culprit since background tasks are running. Both Windows and Linux write to the SSD for temporary files and cache, plus load RAM on login. To test the GPU, install Furmark—it will stress it immediately. If it handles the load without freezing or crashing, your GPU is probably okay. The PSU should also trip and shut down if it fails.
I attempted to use my computer today after resetting the CMOS (done yesterday). So far, everything appears to function properly. The cases that used to fail (watching a video for over 10 minutes) are now working. Thanks for your assistance!

Hi again, this problem has come up recently. I ran the stress test using FurMark, it lasted over 10 minutes with the GPU under load at 3840x2160 resolution. In Task Manager on Windows, the GPU usage was about 70%. That suggests the GPU and power supply should be fine. I believe the RAM is okay since the mdsched tool didn’t report any issues. Likely the problem lies with the SSD—since I don’t have it at home and it’s not in my apartment, I can’t test it right now. Another thing to note: I chose to switch from dual boot to Windows 11 and the issue still appears quickly.
