System experiences sudden increases in CPU activity.
I've noticed some extreme CPU fluctuations during gaming sessions. My system jumps from 40% to 100% instantly, causing the screen to freeze and audio to cut out. I checked Task Manager to identify the process, but no high CPU usage appears when it spikes. The overall percentage still reads at 100%. I'm unsure how to diagnose this further. Anyone have suggestions?
Initiate a clean installation of Windows from the official support site.
Currently this appears to resolve the issue, but it only occurs approximately twice per hour while gaming. I plan to test further tomorrow. What I observed was that after a clean boot, my GPU stays at 100% unless I limit my FPS, after which it drops back to 30%.
