My computer keeps crashing unexpectedly, even when idle on the desktop. It freezes around 50 times during the installation of Windows 11. After a clean install with Windows 10, the issue persists. Recently, I noticed random crashes while playing HTML5 videos—PC shuts down instantly without BSOD, only restarting to a black screen. I'm using an AMD 7950X3D with integrated GPU; all drivers are current and BIOS is up to date. RAM isn't the problem—I disabled XMP and ran with one stick of RAM. The CPU is not overclocked, operating at 65W with TDP capped at 70°C. Half of the screen appears distorted when I watch YouTube videos. I have no idea how to resolve this.

Do you possess the Radeon graphics drivers? Have you attempted to turn off hardware acceleration within the browser?

Radeon drivers are present. I attempted the HTML5 video test with hardware acceleration and it functioned. I should note it also crashes during Crunchyroll video playback after about five seconds.

I added certain enhancements: memory handling in Windows. Since then it hasn't crashed. I plan to try more to confirm if this was the sole cause. Solution for Win 10 only; Win 11 crashes. Updated Oct 9, 2023 by collins1

It didn’t crash during hours in the desktop while you were browsing. When does a PSU cut off power? Like when the CPU is running at low usage and using very little energy?
