The issues are unpredictable, occurring during the 2010 game, in a highly demanding setting similar to the Finals. It started when Valorant was running in the background. This happened before I watched a YouTube video. My system uses a Gigabyte RX 6800 XT OC i7 13700K Z690 MSI A-Pro with DDR4 RAM (4 sticks at 3200MHz). I set it to run at 2666MHz per stick, but each stick behaves differently. I also had an Alienware 1080P monitor at 240Hz. My PC has been with me since October last year, and crashes began in late June this year. The display port stopped working, but the mouse and keyboard RGB stayed functional until I unplugged them—then even the RGB didn’t work. Fans continued to spin as if both CPU and GPU were still active. I attempted Chrome Remote Desktop, but it failed during crashes despite fans running. When I force-shut down via the power strip, the PC won’t start unless I reconnect the power cord. I frequently use sleep mode, but I’m unsure if that affects things. My main concerns are: either the CPU is affected by Intel’s 13th-gen issues, or the PSU is faulty, or the GPU was damaged by the June 2 update. I ran OCCT and Furmark without any crashes during testing. EVENT VIWEER doesn’t provide useful information about when the crash occurred or what happened immediately before or after. My GPU thermal paste dried around that time (June), reaching 110–113°C on the hotspot. Despite frequent stress tests, temperatures didn’t seem to be the problem. I suspect something else is at play. I’m considering removing the CMOS battery to see if it resolves the issue, but I need guidance on recreating the exact scenario to file a warranty claim if necessary.
