System crashes unexpectedly during gameplay. Possible power supply issues?
Hello, I understand you're having some issues with your PC. It seems like certain games cause it to crash while others don't. The affected titles include CS2, Overwatch 2 and Rocket League, but not League of Legends, Minecraft or multiple single-player games. When the crash happens, both screens go dark, RAM and motherboard lights stay on but no fans spin—even GPU fans aren’t active. Pressing power button or holding it doesn’t stop the shutdown. I need to turn off the PSU, wait until the lights stop, then restart it. Someone mentioned checking the logbook, so I’ve taken some screenshots for reference.
Your system specs are: GPU 6900XT, CPU 5900X, PSU 1000W bronze modular, RAM 32GB (2x16GB at 3200MHz), motherboard Asus Prime X570-P. The crashes seem to occur after playing specific games for about an hour. It looks like the power supply might be the issue. You’ve had it for around 1.5 years, possibly a bit longer, and you bought it used.
