I'm dealing with some tricky PC specs that seem to be causing problems. I'm not sure where to start looking for replacements. My setup includes an Asus Tuf X570 pro board, Ryzen 9 3900X, Coolermaster V750 Gold PSU, EVGA GTX 2070, and several RAM modules. The system runs smoothly until it loses power repeatedly—turning on briefly, then shutting down with the power indicator lit. I've reset the BIOS and tried to fix things, but the issue persists. My keyboard, mouse, monitors, and Ethernet cable are all working fine. Since my old PSU failed about two years ago, I don’t have any spare parts. I’m considering the PSU might be the root cause, though I’m not entirely sure if the motherboard is involved. I plan to disassemble the case and inspect the motherboard, but before that, I’d like to hear if anyone has encountered similar problems or suggestions. My main guess is a power supply issue, given the stable boot and BIOS behavior, but it can shut down unexpectedly after a short period.

Did you verify your temperatures? Typically the BIOS will display them; if they’re above 90°C, the system is likely shutting down.

I often wonder why certain PSUs stand out when I look at them. First, checking the power supply details makes the most sense. You might also test with just one RAM stick and enable advanced settings like XMP/EXPO to see if stability improves. RAM problems usually don’t leave much of a trace, or they might cause crashes.

Unfortunately the device doesn't remain active long enough, causing it to power off after 20-30 seconds or as soon as the BIOS screen appears.

Unfortunately, I rarely get to Windows. When it does happen, I usually only stay for about ten seconds. I’ve reset the BIOS and cleared the CMOS, then I’ll verify the power supply.

Unfortunately, I didn't have success with an older, slower RAM. It seems I rushed the purchase at the time and didn't notice the issue. I might just buy another one and see if it works.

The power source failed, so a replacement was required—new Cosair power supply installed and everything resolved!
