Whenever I launch a game, my PC freezes and the GPU fans spin wildly. I've tried updating drivers or giving the system a rest, but nothing helps. My GPU is brand new—can’t be damaged. Please let me know if anyone has any advice I can try.

Please share your PC's specifications such as CPU, GPU, and power supply. Let me know if you've checked the graphics driver yet. When did this happen, and does it occur with other games or consistently? Can you reproduce the problem?

the system details are as follows: motherboard from gigabyte z 290, processor i5 9400kf, gpu rtx 2060, power supply enermax 650, ram 16gb at 3200 mhz, kingstone fury. a week ago i noticed this issue whenever i launch a game, regardless of the title, and i’m unsure what caused it. i didn’t trigger it intentionally.
