System configuration error detected – unable to reach SSD storage.
I was updating my laptop and needed to reinstall Windows 10. It wouldn’t start from the hard drive anymore, but worked with Ubuntu instead. I connected the laptop’s hard drive to my main computer so I could transfer data. Trying to open user files on Windows from the drive took a long time, so I moved everything to an extra 1TB external drive. I installed Windows on that SSD just to test my existing program. It worked, but I couldn’t access any folders in the root (like programs, settings, etc.). After rebooting, I got a “BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO” message when trying to boot from the SSD. Once back on the laptop drive, I realized I couldn’t reach the SSD at all—just seeing “Access denied.” If anyone knows how to fix that error or get back into the SSD, it would help a lot. Thanks.
