I noticed my current RAM setup isn’t sufficient for daily tasks. I upgraded to two 16GB modules at 3200MHz. My question is, should I install both 16GB units together or combine the existing 8GB with the new ones? Not a big issue anymore! Also, it seems my motherboard has two faulty RAM slots, making it hard to fit all four.

Also mentioned that the two RAM options, 8GB and 16GB, belong to different manufacturers. Uncertain whether this will impact performance.

Are you requiring more than 32GB of memory? Then attempt to launch both kits. Otherwise, opt for the single 2x16GB package; its quicker performance will outweigh any dual-rank advantages you could gain.

Offer it to someone else for a different job. It remains in excellent condition for various uses, including servers.
