First check the CPU for any visible issues such as bent pins or similar damage. Based on my experience handling Ryzen MOSEs and CPUs, I suspect the problem might be with the motherboard. I've seen others get similar damage when performing the same tests, even ending up with a dead board. If you're testing another CPU, try that to eliminate that possibility, and consider swapping RAM to confirm. In my case, it's much more difficult to damage a CPU during these tests than the motherboard itself. I've dropped several Intel CPUs without issues. Try to eliminate other components first. Edit: Also verify the PSU—make sure the fan spins up properly. It doesn't require a working CPU to power on fans or similar devices, so it's likely the MOSE is the issue.
