Hi everyone, I recently purchased a Thunderbolt KVM switch (not available in the US – see product site). My goal is to link all my peripherals to it—monitor, keyboard, mouse, speakers, etc.—and switch between my PC and a Mac. I’ve connected everything and it’s partially functional. When switching to the Mac, it connects to the monitor and speakers, receives input from the mouse and keyboard, and even charges. However, when switching to my PC, it doesn’t power on. Looking at the power button, I see the motherboard reporting an issue with VGA configuration. I tried connecting to my monitor via HDMI and managed to boot up successfully. It’s worth noting that the keyboard, mouse, and speakers are working fine, so it seems the expansion card (ASUS ThunderboltEX 4) is installed correctly. The support site mentions a DisplayPort pass-through, but I checked Windows Display Settings and Device Manager—no DisplayPort references found. Although HDMI is connected directly to the monitor, I couldn’t access BIOS’s Power On Self Check. I’m a bit stuck and would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks, Filip.

Sounds like you just forgoy to plug the dp port cable into your gpu and then the minidp port end in your thunderbolt card from what Im reading here. The passthrough feature is literally just plugging your gpu into the card via the normal dp to mini dp cable it came with. Should say all this in the manual

I can confirm that I have plugged in the DP to DP Mini cable exactly how the manual states (DP output from GPU to DP Mini 1 on the expansion card). I also updated my BIOS and firmware. Still no luck...

Yes, you got two correct answers. Give the other one a try to check.
