Hello,
I would replace my old great membrane keyboard Microsoft Sidewinder X4 with a new one. I tried some mechanical keyboards but dislike the higher ones. Sidewinder has a 24mm size and low-profile keycaps. I've been gaming on this keyboard for about 10 years and would like something similar. Can you assist me?

What does the term "gaming" mean to you? It often refers to marketing tactics involving flashy lights and bigger plastic cases. Any keyboard you prefer can work for gaming. What specific qualities are you seeking?
Check out searches for "low profile gaming keyboard" to find options that suit your needs.
They also offer compact mechanical keyboards with reduced travel distance...

Razor Chroma Synosa measures 3,1cm, Logitech G213 is 3,2cm. Which one suits you better—lower profile or with palmrest?

HP USB slim models are popular in our workplace. I prefer traditional terminals over those bulky keyboards. Kensington slim is often praised on forums as the top choice for slim designs.

Yeah but Kensington Slim isn't a gaming keyboard... Sorry I didn't say that. I'm searching for a gaming keyboard.

Hi,
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm looking for a keyboard with n-key rollover and anti-ghosting features. Do these functions come on all keyboards? I was thinking of something similar to the Sidewinder X4, perhaps with membrane caps since I don't prefer mechanical keyboards. A wrist pad would also be nice.

You're right, not every keyboard comes with the n-key rollover feature. Web searches usually point you toward the standard options people use, which often requires some research and reading. If you can't find exactly what you need, it's unlikely anyone else will either, given your specific requirements. Removing the need for low-profile keys opens up more choices, just like mechanical keyboards with low-profile switches are available.

Your search has a problem because very few keyboards designed for low-profile keys are aimed at gamers. These are typically better suited for general office use and aesthetics rather than high-performance gaming. Gamers, programmers, and heavy typists usually prefer mechanical keyboards that offer good keypress feedback and a satisfying feel.

It's similar to searching for a Toyota Corolla with Brembo brakes and Recaro racing seats—those markets are very different.
