The SSD shouldn't cause any problems, provided the power source matches the case.

You need a more powerful PSU because the current one is outdated. It won’t work with standard adapters, and finding a compatible one is tough. A 40$ second-gen i5 from eBay would completely replace it. Don’t waste money on this setup—it’s likely to fail when using a web browser.
