I'm currently in the process of changing my OS from Windows 8.1 to Ubuntu but when I go to change the boot device to the USB it just boots straight back into Windows as though I just started it like normal. Any suggestion?

I prepared the USB drive to be bootable. You can install Windows 10 without a license, but there will be a small watermark and the start menu colors won’t be editable.

I believe this works, I used PowerISO to convert the downloaded ISO into a bootable USB. I understand I can install Windows 10 without a license, but I don’t want that option.

It seems the product doesn't seem to focus on making bootable operating systems.

Check File Explorer for updates or look in Device Manager or Disk Management to see if it's recognized.

I can retrieve it via Windows Explorer and Device Manager, but it doesn’t show up in Rufus!
