I'm planning a full transition from a year or so to using yeast and a half. My "Next Gen" Console will still work until then. I only play console because that's what my real friends do. I'll keep playing console even after building my PC, but I'm waiting until 4K becomes the norm in PC gaming. What sets the PC gaming scene apart? I appreciate how simple it is to connect and play with others on console. You see someone you want to join, they invite you to their game and gather around. Is there a social system similar to Skype on consoles? I'm curious about the differences between console and PC beyond just performance and resolution.

superior multitasking, obv better graphics, obv better FPS, multi-functional meaning it isn't specifically for playing games, you have the option between keyboard and mouse or controller, cheaper games, more games, i'm sure i could go on but there's a few Edited July 27, 2014 by Admiaczking

I enjoy using Razer Comms, it feels more like Skype but better. Beyond FPS and gaming, your computer can handle many tasks—posting on forums, watching YouTube, editing videos, setting up servers. The possibilities are endless. It makes the experience smoother when you finish playing and want to switch activities.

I understand everything, but I wanted to clarify the social side of PC gaming. Please let me know if my explanation was confusing.

In a thoughtful way, the community has grown more experienced since consoles are basic and traditional, making them accessible to younger users.

You're just a teenager, right? That means you might be considered a young adult depending on the rules.
