According to the title, I replaced my CPU but it still powers on with a black screen. I’ve removed the new CPU and reinstalled it without any change, so I’m not sure what to do next.

I haven’t checked your system settings directly. Could you confirm if your BIOS is updated to a version that supports the 5500 model?

No, I wasn't utilizing the on-board displays from the 3200G.

I didn't do that before the upgrade, actually—I wasn't aware I needed it.

Upgrade the BIOS on your motherboard to ensure the newer CPU functions properly. A manual should explain the process, available in the user guide or on the manufacturer’s support page. Share the board’s name and model if you need assistance locating the right instructions.

Restart your previous CPU installation. Review the board manual for updating the BIOS while in setup. Retrieve the most recent BIOS version for your board, transfer it to a USB drive, and install it.

Here’s a revised version of your message:

The manual is available at the provided link (English).
You can find the most recent BIOS information on the ASUS website here: https://www.asus.com/motherboards-compon...ME-A320M-K.
If you encounter any difficulties during the process, please let us know and we’ll be happy to clarify the steps.
