Using Steam or Origin usually activates cloud services by default, so your saved games are stored on Valve and EA servers.

Consider moving the games to an external hard drive by copying them, then reinstalling the operating system and programs. Restore the games and ensure Steam and Origin are updated. If issues persist, run both repair utilities.
