9700K, GTX 980, Phanteks Eclipse P350X, Corsair H100i, MSI Z390 MoBo. I still own a 980 because I couldn't get a new GPU. My graphics stay at 92c during games, while my CPU never exceeds 65. I worry about adjusting fan curves to follow the GPU, as changing them could cause overheating if the CPU isn’t keeping up. Is there any software that lets it switch between CPU and GPU based on which is more active?
The previous time you cleaned the GTX 980 well was several months ago.
Remove the debris, it seems the system is quite dusty. Have you ever updated the thermal paste on your graphics card? It may be wearing out after regular use.
